But the real power of Chord Board for Producers comes from its MIDI integration with your favorite DAW or hardware synthesizer. 

Try this:

1. Create a chord sequence on Chord Board with One Finger.
2. Connect to your DAW with MIDI. Just follow the MIDI Configuration Guide on our Tutorials page.
3. Load a virtual instrument onto several tracks.
4. Configure each track to receive MIDI from Chord Board Channel 1.
5. Configure Chord Board to MIDI Send Sync, disable Receive
6. Configure DAW to receive sync.
7. Press Play on Chord Board (should start transport on DAW).
8. Experiment with different sounds on each track while the chord sequence loops, until finding a killer sound combination.
9. Press Record in your DAW to capture the MIDI chords.
10. Go on to experiment with different chord sequences in Chord Board by moving chords around with One Finger and looping chords with One Finger to create a whole new dynamic.
11. Press Record in your DAW to capture the  new MIDI chords.

Yes, the Chord Board is compatible with all major DAWs, including Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Studio One, Cubase, and more.
